Hill Climb - Commercial Executive

As a Commercial Executive you will be responsible for client servicing and client acquisition. The Executive serves as the direct link between organisation and the existing client, managing day-to-day affairs and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the Director of Sales to manage relationships with clients. This role is responsible to deliver all aspects of customer sales excluding camping and competitors from cradle to grave.

Key Responsibilities

Team leadership

To be pro active in delivering the teams objectives

Customer service

  • Ensure team members understand customer needs and deliver the expected outcomes
  • Regularly review work processes for areas of improvement
  • Advise clients of other products and the wider Greyfort Group
  • ?To meet with clients to build relationships with existing clients

Operational management

  • To deliver the sales budget that includes all responsibility for all inventory lines excluding competitors and campers
  • Alerting the Sales Team to opportunities for further sales with key clients
  • Monitor and report on progress towards achievement of plans and strategies 
  • Foster a customer-focused working environment, with clear responsibilities
  • Understand team strategies and objectives and achieve targets/KPI’s
  • Precise attention to detail
  • Monitor all purchases from the web shop, package and despatch
  • To handle any requests for ticket purchases in person or over the telephone
  • To report to Finance team all invoice production and debt collection
  • Manage the page spread for the programme in relation to the relevant advertising space.  Collate art work content and feeding into the relevant key person
  • To manage on line bookings and sales by telephone, co-ordinating the availability and revenue target communicating with Hotel on final requirements
  • To communicate clearly and frequently with the operations team updating any amends or changes.
  • Bedroom stock management ensuring clients are booked into the relevant rooms and to co-ordinate with reception the checking in process at the time of the event
  • For company implemented events and VIP manage ticket sales in line with budget, to be responsible for all areas of the production of the event liaising with the sales Director to co-ordinate entertainment requirements
  • The ability to organise multiple work assignments and establish priorities
  • Utilise skills gained from the Hill Climb to co-ordinate other key events

Relationship management

  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key clients 
  • Alerting the Sales Team to opportunities for further sales with key clients
  • Establish and maintain active and constructive relationships with other teams in the organisation, with a close working relationship with operations.
  • The people skills required to deal with challenging clients
  • Ability to communicate with employee and clients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Negotiate with others and resolve conflicts, particularly in sensitive situations

Health and safety

  • Ensure you are informed of and trained in safe practices and procedures in their specific areas of work.
  • To comply with statutory and Company regulations relating to health and safety, food hygiene, licensing regulations, fire procedures and security of premises and property
