The Roaring Twenties Summer Ball, £55 per Person
9 August 2019
Congratulations to Amna and Giacomo Esposito, who were married at Chateau Impney Hotel on 1 August 2015, tying the knot with both an English civil ceremony and a religious Islamic Nikkah ceremony.
Our grand French chateau in the heart of England was the perfect backdrop for bringing together Asian and Italian culture at a unique wedding. Amna, who is of Asian origin, and Giacomo, who is Italian, seamlessly blended their two cultures together at their stylish wedding at the Chateau.
Amna got married in a traditional English white wedding dress. To respect both of their cultures, the couple unusually had two wedding ceremonies. Their civil ceremony in the Royal Suite included an Italian translator, so Giacomo’s family could understand everything that was being said. This was followed by the Islamic Nikkah ceremony, performed by an Imam.
Following the ceremonies, Amna and Giacomo were showered with confetti and rice, an Italian tradition. The Italian theme continued with all of the guests enjoying delicious, freshly-baked pizzas in the Chateau’s grounds. The couple then took some time to enjoy our beautiful gardens before their reception.
The evening reception had more of an Asian feel, with Amna changing into a stunning blue and gold dress and Asian jewellery. Guests enjoyed an Asian dinner, speeches and dancing.
It was an honour to host Amna and Giacomo’s wedding day. Their day was completely unique to them and their families, respecting both of their cultures and bringing them together perfectly. It was a day full of fun, laughter, love and happy tears! We wish them all the very best for a long and happy future together.
