The Roaring Twenties Summer Ball, £55 per Person
9 August 2019
Our nationwide search for the UK's first Taster in Residence captured the imagination of local, hospitality and online press.
When we launched our search for a Taster in Residence, we were delighted to receive lots of interest from the local press. We received great coverage and support from Worcester News, Droitwich Advertiser and Droitwich Standard, and many of our applicants chose to apply after reading about it in the paper.
The news was well received by some of the most respected food and travel bloggers across the country, including Andy’s Kitchen, The Travel Ramble and MSN UK Lifestyle, who all helped out with our search and agreed it would be one of their dream jobs! News of the search also piqued the interest of the business community, including Meetpie and The Business Desk, who discussed the impact that the Taster in Residence would have on menus for our conferencing guests.
After a series of challenging taste battles, we were delighted to crown Lisa Gallacher as the UK’s first Taster in Residence. Her appointment was met with great acclaim by the local press, including the Droitwich Advertiser and the Droitwich Standard, and it was also fantastic to be recognised by leading hospitality publications The Caterer and Hotel Owner.
