The best thing about working at Chateau Impney is …

The best thing about working at the Chateau is getting to plan events for people in such a beautiful venue and helping to create special memories for our guests.

If I could choose to swap jobs for a day with anyone else at the Chateau, it would be …

It would have to be Stephen, our Executive Chef, as I’m passionate about cooking and creating new dishes. It would be amazing to see one of my dishes appear on the Chateau Impney menu.

My favourite part of the hotel is …

Our feature rooms. They’re decorated so beautifully and individually, and I’d love to stay in one for a night of luxury. The only problem would be choosing between the Fleur de Lys Suite and the Corbett Suite!

The one place in Droitwich or Worcestershire that our guests should visit is …

Worcester is a lovely city, steeped in history and heritage, and there is a lot to see and do there. I would recommend a walk along the river, a visit to the beautiful cathedral and a trip to one of the numerous museums to learn all about the city’s history. In particular, The Commandery, which houses fascinating exhibitions about the city’s involvement in the English Civil War, is well worth a visit.

My favourite dish on the Chateau menu is …

My favourite dish would be the chargrilled sirloin steak, especially when paired with the garlic cream sauce.

The one local event that you shouldn’t miss when you stay at the Chateau is …

The Worcester Festival will be taking place again this August and is always really good fun. The festival is really diverse as anyone from the town can put on an event as long as it’s creative, engaging and most of all, fun. There’s something for everyone, from local music to theatre performances, and it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re staying with us throughout August.
