From lavish balls to rib-tickling comedy nights and thrilling motorsport events, there’s something for everyone at Chateau Impney.
The Chateau Impney Hill Climb is a thrilling display of historic motorsport, and is returning to Droitwich on Saturday 8–Sunday 9 July 2017.
From 1957 to 1967, Chateau Impney played host to a series of speed trials, attracting some of the best known hill climb competitors and thousands of thrill-seeking spectators. The Chateau Impney Hill Climb has brought motorsport back to Droitwich as an annual event, celebrating the Chateau’s unique and exciting motoring heritage.
Each event features pre-1967 vehicles, some of which competed at the Chateau in its heyday. Around 200 competitors will tackle the tricky hill climb course, hailed as one of the most challenging new courses in the country. Some of the most competitive car and driver combinations in historic motorsport will face the Impney challenge, and they’ll be racing against the clock as they try to achieve the fastest time of the day. As well as catching the action from our grandstands, visitors will have the opportunity to look around the paddock and get up close and personal with the cars taking part in the event.
There will be a host of different attractions taking place throughout the weekend, including the Footman James Concours d’Elegance, which will showcase a range of stunning classic and vintage cars, specialist trade and memorabilia stalls, a funfair and air displays. Our visitors will be able to get a real taste of Worcestershire too, as our food and drink areas are home to some of the area’s finest local caterers.
