Get ready for a night of razor-sharp wit and huge laughs – the Midlands’ biggest comedy night returns to the Chateau this October, and this time, there’s a twist!!

Live comedy is back in Droitwich this October! If you’ve ever fancied seeing the people who have brought some of the nations favourite characters to life, up close and personal, and even have the chance of asking them a question of your own, then this October, we can’t wait to welcome you to our Sitcom Special Impney Comedy Night.

Ricky Tomlinson

One of Britain’s most famous and popular actors, Ricky Tomlinson has been an icon of the TV world for over 30 years.  Whether you remember Ricky in his breakthrough role of Bobby Grant in Brookside, or whether you are more of a fan of ‘Big’ Jim Royle, be sure to catch Ricky as he takes to the stage at Chateau Impney.  Ricky will be entertaining our audience with witty tails and amazing anecdotes from his fascinating life and career.

Sherrie Hewson

Whether you have been entertained by Sherrie Hewson as a Loose Woman, hapless hotel manager Joyce Temple-Savage, Mrs Reg Holdsworth or Lesley Meredith, you’re sure to be familiar with this legend of the British soap scene.  We can’t wait to welcome Sherrie to our stage to entertain our audience with unique memories and inside jokes about her remarkable career, which takes in beloved soaps, chat shows and iconic programmes like Z Cars and Carry on Laughing

John Challis

For fans of British comedy, John Challis needs no introduction.  As the ever ambitious and often clueless used car dealer, Boycie in the hit BBC comedy Only Fools & Horses, John Challis is responsible for bringing to life one of the funniest, most loved and best remembered characters in British TV history.  Join John at Chateau Impney and gain an insight into the richest regular of the Nag’s Head.

Richard ‘Hursty’ Hurst

Best known for his breakfast time radio show on Free Radio, ‘Hursty’ is a stalwart of the Midlands entertainment scene.  A talented radio presenter, producer and event compere, Hursty will be welcoming all of our guests and ensuring our Sitcom Special doesn’t run like a soap opera! Hursty will also be picking a few lucky audience members at the end of the evening to have their personal questions answered by our sitcom stars.

Prices, timings and more about the event

Tickets are priced at £30 per person and the event takes place in the Regent Centre. Doors open at 7.15pm and the show begins at 8.15pm. 

The second half of the evening will be a Q&A with our acts, once you have purchased a ticket you will receive a confirmation email giving you the opportunity to supply a question for John, Ricky or Sherrie.  Our host for the evening, Hursty from Free Radio will select a number of questions in advance, and then open the floor to questions from our audience on the night.?

Why not join us for dinner first? Our dinner and a show package is priced at £55 per person and includes a delicious two-course buffet with a free drink, as well as priority seating for the night.
